Plot twist - the driver of the truck was Jonathon Martin and the person he thought he was running over was Richie Incognito.

Honestly - the driver should go to jail for a long, long time. I'm amazed the kid was able to get up and run away.

 

So sad to see so many people suggesting these kids “deserved” this. First of all, no one “deserves” to be hurt. However, it might satisfy some (unhealthy) urge for revenge within you.

Second, teenagers are children, with brains that are not fully developed. Teenagers will sometimes do stupid, mean, and dangerous things because they don’t foresee the impacts of their actions. This really applies to even adult adolescents up to around age 26.

So...teens who do bad stuff should face and deal with the consequences of their actions. But they need caring adults to guide them rather than adults who vilify (or murder) them.

My point, kids fuck with your shit, you go speak to them, one of them pulls a gun, some one gets shot. So, it’s not just as simple to stop and talk to them about their actions.

 

The driver was clearly "off road" as he came in contact with the first guy. I'm thinking that he was using some of the traction control settings to pull off those maneuvers.

He obviously had ATRAC (Automatic Thug Runover And Crush) engaged.

Looks like he may have been employing the Auto LSD (Auto Legal Sanity Defense) and might be useful if he is found and taken to court.




But seriously, I'm not necessarily condoning the driver's actions because I do not know the circumstances or details, but I'd bet there are many people out there that have wanted to do something like this at some point so my hat is off to this guy that had the balls to do it.

 

I'll take my chances....
