Clean the yard up , messing with one the sheds getting rid of crap

 

Know the feeling. I thought with the cedar being so low, the molds would not be such a bother, but I got "moldy eyes" all day long!

 

Sounds about right. Painted on my new to me Predator steps, got the big ladder out to try and fix some caulk at the top of the chimney. Seems the older I get, the worse the vertigo, or whatever it is, gets. Got 2/3 way up, can't move anymore. Stuffed some steel wool on a weed picker and stuffed it in there. Will try to climb on the old firewood rack roof and see how that works, or just do it from inside the attic.
Hopefully swapping those steps out tomorrow!

I bet Ruben would agree, start the "we don't really need this" attitude as early as you can afford to! Hell, I hauled old surplus ammo crates of CAR HARDWARE, and I mean nuts and bolts, through 5 apartments, until years later, at the house, I made a garage, sorted it, and dumped the rest. That's right, even the people with broke down cars didn't want it (until I chunked it). Literally, I saved it because it was hard to afford the hardware, or the time to search it out.
Our attic is a TROVE of "things to valuable" to toss. You need an IBM selectric typewriter that doesn't work? Yep, it gets like that.

 

Yup, I'm definitely more of the "don't need this junk" kind of guy. My wife on the other hand, not so much. I guess we balance each other out, but would really like to get more stuff out of here, especially holiday decorations we never use. I understand wanting to keep some of the kids first clothes as babies, but when you keep totes of it, it's kinda ridiculous. Okay sorry, enough of my ranting, let's carry on

I just realized something. I showed you Cuda having a pond drink - you might see he is missing a back leg (for several years). Long story, but when he had to have it amputated, his LEG weighed 7 pounds....

He was the man on the block back then. Now, he's man of the house. Something just made that pop up in my swiss cheese brain.

Should be late evening! Short and sweet for you all, but that cold wind will follow. Good news is sunny, and they have warmed up the Sunday temps for C&C: It will ONLY be just below freezing, with less wind! YAY!

 

Not everything becomes immediate junk. Save the "too many memories" stuff (she did too), garage sale it, donate it, all options before you realize it really is junk.
