    Pretty sure it was $1,705 with taxes with the carpet being a free add on. They legend is the 100 but without the lifetime warranty, I'm not afraid to fix my own crap if needed and will build an interior frame if needed when i add a tent.

    Thank you. I am back and forth between an ARE VX and Leer 100r or Legend. I’ve had two ARE shells previously and had no issues but I like the way the leer looks on the 3rd gens. Do you know if you can get windoors on the legend?

    ARE V series, tilt down slider front window, carpet headliner and yakima tracks. Found it on craigslist from a are dealer that had ordered it for a business and then cancelled. Got it for $1100 installed with full warranty, best part was it was already white.

    Happy with my a.r.e so far. Had a leer on my 2nd gen. Had a few issues with it. Rear door props wore out every other year. Mind you I'm a contractor who's in and out of the back quite a bit. Also the roof of it started cracking on the surface just before I sold it. The a.r.e however is better built in my opinion and has a ton more pick and choose options as well. I put a toolbox in the side door of mine, roof carpet, removable cab window and L.E.D's on all 3 doors. Gotta love the internal frame for the roof rack as well. Rated at 600lbs on the roof so my roof tent won't keep me awake at night

    By the way, if you are de-badging your truck, the SnugTop rubber things come off easily. I always have taken all of that stuff off, including the rear SnugTop sticker on the rear glass. I'm not a sticker/label/emblem guy.
