OK, not snake bit. He was the 20 lb thug, and keeping the neighborhood clean of punks. But about in the 00's, he was walking the fence, and fell backwards into a gap, and was left hanging by the leg. By the time I left for work the next day, he was hanging on the OTHER side of our fence, passed out, and never saw him. My neighbor at the time,, was a State Trooper. He found him passed out on the fence, and they had to take the fence apart to get him out. He took him to one vet (which was our vet at that time), and they could not "fit him in". He called my wife, who called me, and all hell broke loose, and the Trooper took him to a second vet. Many phone calls and emails later, he is in surgery, but they say, the leg he was hanging upside down by has to go.

Wife and I decide, and we have NOT got there yet, OK. By the time we get there. Another Trooper has been by to check, because our neighbor asked. Four neighbor friends have been by to check on him... Damn.

Since then, he has tried to use up his lives, and twice I have taken him back to the vets to please end his suffering. He stays for a day, and decides not. Damn.

Sucker has used 8 of 9 I am sure. But, I will never take him to be put away again. I think he wants to be in my inheritance. He's easily 17 human years old or more. He was a "found" cat I brought in so long ago, we don't remember.

 

Damn that's crazy. Poor guy but what a fighter to make it through all that!

Here's mine. He found me as well. Hates everyone else but really likes me for some reason.

All is well, been crazy at work sooo much going on currently. Hard to keep it all straight.

Yea I was asked to check in on a bldg that chiller company was working on why no heat while another plbg company I called out to look at storage tank and found basement flooded from t&p blowing off while main 6” sewer overflowed at street and got a jet trailer out to clear that after we found 6” clean outs I put in that grass had grown overall before lunch

 

Yikes... what a day.
