I'd email back that sales rep and say "Okay, thanks. I'll just go with the Ford Ranger". They'll probably figure out a way to give you what you want. The dealer here wouldn't give me what my trade in was worth so I just thanked them politely and walked out. My phone was ringing before I got 5 blocks away. Change of heart. They really want to sell you a truck.

Get a late 2017, it will be known as the last Tacoma year built without any nanny modes!

Your salesman is an idiot. TSS is a basic radar system and does not require recalibration after a lift install. That is a money making tactic by dealers. Radar does not project on a flat plane, it projects in a cone shape. Because the TSS forward sensor is a fixed sensor and cannot pan up or down or left or right the cone will simply be projected further out after a lift is installed sensing further in front of the vehicle which in theory should cause the auto braking to react earlier, etc.

Secondly, why are you paying the dealer to install a lift? Do you like paying more for sub-par equipment? They will likely install spacers and blocks and charge King coilover money for it.

    Basic hand tools
    Jack stands

I installed a full OME lift with only these. Took about 5 hours

A lot of people will give you their hard opinion saying the dealer doesn't know what they're doing etcetera.

My advice is to tell them chat you spoke to another dealership and they don't have a problem with it and you are buying their product.
The fact that they told you that means you should never do business with them at all for any reason. Point blank!

You either have a dumb shit sales rep or a dumb shit dealer. The beauty of the dealership Network is that you can drive a few further miles out to purchase but still get your vehicle service wherever you want. I strongly advise everyone 2 Ensure that the dealership they are dealing with is not affiliated in any fucking way with optional dealership nearby

2018 TRD OR with a stage 6 icon 3” lift running on 285/70R17s. I still use dynamic cruise every road trip. All other TSS features also seem to work without recalibration. You’ll be fine!

Mine also works just fine.. 2018 running 285/70r17 with 3" left. I'm also having no issues with my bumper installed. Save the money and install it all yourself. My floor jack was my helping buddy!

When mine is ready and I pick it up I will post pics...

My dealer will install...If I had the time I would install the lift myself but I run a business 6 days a week from 8-6 and have 3 kids that I kinda like to see in the off time plus a hot wife I need to keep satisfied :D.....oh and it keeps my factory warranty honored for the 3/36 as well

Go thing you can lift them. I am thinking of selling my New/older Pro suspension, meaning 2015 and under pro, that I bought when they were on close out and my rims and tires.

Forgot to upload. 2nd pic is after a realignment and a little more coil over adjustment for a bit more lift.

Unless you're fine with leaving your truck as it stands, then get the OR instead. The money you'll save from the pro to the OR can go to a really nice lift, and maybe even have some $ left over.
