Always too early for humans, I cant wait to go back to nights next month!

 

Looking forward to the long weekend. I have a Dr appointment this afternoon so I am furloughing myself for a few hours after lunch Then 3 days off.

 

I was on nights for years. Sunday-Thursday from 2000-0900. Went back on days over a year ago M-F. Man never realized how much I missed having Weeks’s off again. You can keep the night life. That hand to mouth disease while driving killed me.

 

my schedule here is pretty tight though, i do 2 12 hour days and then have 3 off. but getting at 4am to get to work for standing days is just awful. I like waking up at 2 pm better haha. less traffic for me on the night shifts.

 

The only thing I liked about nights was getting off work Friday morning and getting things done before the weekend. Plus if one of the kids was sick I could take them to the doctor without missing work and just crash after.

 

I've noticed I have been a bit more agitated since I've been on nights the last few months. I miss my weekends and my normal hours

 

It sucks being on nights. For me I spent more money. Just not on truck parts. Stopping at wawa twice a night to grab coffee to keep my ass awake on the road. May as well drop down a $20 each time. Plus I do t have to hook up doubles anymore. All I haul now is a long box around F’burg.

 

I have a garage and I have a heater in it. That said, the heater won't get the garage much above 50 when it is very cold out. I do have one other space heater, but if you have any additional space heaters, we could likely get it warm enough...

 

I mean, 50 is great weather
