Anyone know if I could do 255/80/17 on the 4 runner sema wheels on a stock suspension 2018 TRDOR without any rubbing issues?

Your truck looks awesome. After having them a few days, how's the ride on some of those VT roads? Power loss? I know they are stiffer, but do you feel every crack in the road? I have a '18 Tacoma, more HP but less low rpm torque, so I'm hoping the added 10 lbs/tire weight won't make my truck constantly "search" at low rpm's. My F250's and 350's were great with these, but they are heavy trucks. Trying to narrow tires down to ST MAXX (E), Toyo AT2 (C), or Grabber X3 (C). Thanks for any input!

Glad to help. I don’t feel every crack or bump. They actually feel pretty good driving down the road paired with the 5100s. Much better than the tires before. I was between these and the Falken Wildpeaks but they were all out of stock on them otherwise I probably would have bought just for the price alone. But I’m happy I got what I originally wanted.

For me difference in weight was 12 lbs and I do feel it on take off and braking. I have to give it more gas and less clutch to get going which I’m still getting used to. Maybe you wouldn’t notice this with an automatic.

Once you get going above 10mph though, they feel great. Still have plenty of power if you need to step on it. Speedometer is about 3 mph off (reads less) at 78 on the interstate though so beware.

All of this is worth it for the snow/handling and the feeling I get walking to it every time it’s parked. Looks so good! Hope this helps.

Just got some 255/85r16s installed on the stock OR wheels yesterday and the shop aired them up to 50 psi. What psi is everyone running at?

They did that to me when I bought mine. I ended up at 30 psi.

    My 25k review. Buy them.

As long as Cooper will make these tires I’ll buy them. Have them fitted to both of my Toyota’s and love them. Dry, wet, sand, snow, ice, and yes, even mud. Best all terrain tire I’ve ever used.

Getting ready to sell a set of five 315/70/17s wrapped around Black Hutchinson Rock Monsters so I can go with a 16” wheel. Promise you I’ll put 35” S/T Maxx on them as well.

I may give coopers another go ones day - I did not like them the first time due to the crazy pull I got but maybe second time is a charm! I'll find out in another...50k miles or so hahaha

I've had my truck aligned two times by two different shops and I still pull to the right. Never occurred to me it could be the tires.

Mine are brand new and pull hard to the right too. I’ve had it aligned recently but it didn’t help. They look damn sexy though. I’ll have to learn to live with it, at least I don’t feel alone lol.
