wouldn't a plugged cat cause performance issues and throw a P0420?

 

A plugged cat would, but cats can just stop working without being plugged. You may never get a p0420 with a plugged cat cause not enough exhaust flow

I finally got my winch installed!!

 

Haha what? They're charging $733.80 for a damn sensor?

 

I bought a $65 Amazon MAF sensor a couple years ago and it's been good so far.

 

Thanks! I spent way longer on the paint than I should have haha. Anyways the headlights are the CAPA certified ones from rockauto $41/headlight with a bulb. And they are super bright, I need to reaim them but I can actually see at night now

 

Do you happen to know if theres a way to not cut your grill for a winch?

 

That's dependant on the bumper and the winch you get or have really. Some winches can or have remote mount solenoids which would help with that.

 

Gotcha, I'm looking at a trailgear, relentless fab or custom so was mainly asking about the trailgear but if its dependent on the winch ill do some more research

 

With any of those bumpers, you might not have an issue. Do some looking around in the 1st Gen Builds area and have a look at what bumper/winch combos people have and you should be able to figure it out. With those bumpers, I think they usually have the winch mounted a little lower and with a winch installed, they might not interfere with the grille.

I was looking at that this morning. With the smittybilt x20 nope . I could have moved the solenoid box to the engine bay. But it would still have to be cut for the handel. I looked at clocking it towards the back but it would really suck to try and reach it.. Or youd have to have girly hands. So it were its at. Maybe a winch with a thinner and smaller handle would fit better.

 

Alright, just gonna man up and ask... Im just getting into working on my own vehicles. I know this is a stupid question because I cant find ANYTHING on it. I was told my clutch needs to be bled. I know how to do it, just not quite sure where the bleeder is?? pls help lol.

 

Bleeder is under the truck. Driver side of the transmission right near the slave cylinder.

Bleeder is on the slave cylinder. It's the blue thing attached to the driver's side of the bellhousing in this pic. This is looking in from the wheel well but you can access it from underneath on the drivers side. The black cap is the bleeder valve.
