    Boats07,
I placed one washer on each side of the rear mud flap so the spacer did not go through the mounting hole and the washer set's flush. Looks like you have them both on the front side of the flap. Also both my front and back flaps are pulled/bent back on the inner mounting location, I don't think it is an issue and I like that it fits better to the inner fender.

if you want adjustable flaps that can stick out as far as you want, i would look into these

they are just over a 100 a pop but are made from a mix of plastics and aluminum

Yeah. I realized that after looking at instructions picture. But when reading instructions it didn’t seem that way. “

    2. Start by attaching Long Self Tapping Screw, 2 washers and spacer to flap (figure 3).” so I read it and installed then decided to look at pictures. It didn’t say screw washer flap washer spacer.

Easy install of the stock 11" RekGens on my TRD Off Road. I did paint the hardware a matte black. You have the space to let them stick out a bit or be flush with the side of the truck. Mine are flush with the flares.

I love mine, bought the plain, XL size. Easy install, quality material and stainless hardware was included. Think I paid about $90 from RekGen directly a few months ago.DEF3F550-383D-47F7-BA1E-62FF7EF97CA3.jpg

Happy with mine, I got the regular size. I have 265/75/r16 General Grabber ATX and found that I rubbed the inside bolt when turning into the driveway, hitting the curb and flexing on it. So, I pulled off the inside bolt, cut down the tubing to about 1.25 inches or a bit less, cranked it in tight so it is pulled back/bent in a little, and I no longer have the rub. I like the look after having had the 4x4 mud flaps on my Gen1, and they really do help keep rocks from tumbling around the undercarriage from the Generals, and keep the spray of leaf debris and mud/dirt off the truck. I screwed up on the bolt and doubled up on the washers as well. I'll fix it when I see there's an issue with the tubing popping through.

Are those the grey lettering? I like it, looks way lighter on their website.

That would be the grey. It actually is pretty close to matching my truck paint. At least from a few feet back or so.

Did want other members have done when installing ko2s on my 2018 dcsb off road ... had to cut the tube down about an inch on front to avoid rubbing when wheel locked ... great product for around 80 bucks after coupon.

Hey everyone I’m looking for a little extra info from people running the RekGen mud flaps. How much extra clearance does this give over stock ? I have a 2017 with 2.75” lift / UCA’s and am looking at 255/80/17 wheels and wondering if this will give me enough clearance or will I have to ditch mud flaps completely. I do a lot of mountain hwy driving and would like to stop all the gravel from being thrown up the door panel.
    Thanks

Pretty much none. The stock front mud flaps conform to the shape of your pinch weld and these dont. Plus their hardware sticks out a lot. They give you this piece of rubber as a "spacer" that forces the mud flap to stick out of your fenderwells. I was hoping this would help but it doesn't fix the clearance issue. But if you're running 255s you should have zero clearance issues anyways.

I ditched the spacers on mine and bent them a little and it seemed to help.

Installed them last night. Went on pretty easy. Seem to be good quality. I drive gravel roads and want the protection a mud flap offers. 4A5226DC-8656-4B7C-8F55-47E2A386475E.jpg 14F2F525-B1D9-49FF-A2E6-F692EF0ECB8A.jpg

Dunno exactly, I didn't have stock to compare to. Just put these on, they are 1/4" all the way through. The inside of the front does get pulled in some with the spacer. Bolts stick out a bit.

FWIW, mine came with black bolts and washers.
