Is 1800 miles to far for a pizza & a beer?

    For that beer, yes.

I would drive 1800 miles to get away from grumpy troll beer.
Funny I went to that place this summer. I gave away my first beer I tried and barely choked down half the next one.

Go about 25 mins south to New Glarus for killer beer.

They are a small micro brew place that serves beer as I would describe as an unfiltered sort and almost belgian style. They serve I think Kolsch beers all the way to stouts like Guiness. So a variety of types.
I’m not a fan. At all. They just have this nasty funk to them.

Guiness is largely a flavorless beer once you get past the fact that its gelatenous in texture XD
I drink it once a year on St. Patties Day.

A guy I worked with had some home brew stuff he made, man that was some good beer! And it was around 6%...real smooth tasting. Ive thought of making my own, I may have to try it sometime...

I want to home brew (did it once and it was good but it was some cheapo kit). Something that's been on the list for a while now but I keep thinking I need less expensive hobbies not more expensive hobbies. :)

Ya it starts out reasonable and then you get hooked and all that new higher end stuff starts looking good and oh oh oh I need this to do this and then the wife starts rolling her eyes at me. :)

I had to change how I originally had it using a 55gallon barrel ring to hold the Webber, to using the Webber legs cut down a bit so it would fit. That gave me the stand off distance I needed between the grill and the wood. It works great.

Just when I think I have subscribed to too many threads on tacomaworld I find a thread like this and add another. Now I am craving pizza from the grill.
