6500 miles BFG KO2, TRD Pro SEMA and TRD Pro Fox Suspension...is this a good deal?

Guy on Craigslist is leasing his Tacoma and is trying to turn it in, so I made him an offer.

My stock offroad wheels plus $900 for his wheels and tires with 6500 miles on them (BFG ko2’s)

Then he countered and said he’d throw on the TRD Pro suspension for $2k.

Is this a good deal? I love the wheels and tires but don’t know if the fox suspension is that much better than the stock OR?

    stock ish
So you would pay extra 1100 for him to throw in the pro suspension ?
Those have been sold on here for as little as 800 iirc.
    New too.

If you’re not in a hurry I’m sure you will see a set pop up.

Wow that’s crazy. I would have thought the Pro suspension was way more valuable

TRD Pro suspension is odly expensive for what it is tbh. If it were me, I'd just take the wheels and tires and then source suspension separately

I would probably do it if I had the means. Was it a Pro he was renting or did he add the suspension. They might want those Fox's back when he turns it in...?

No he has an off-road like mine and he bought the suspension off a buddy who said he only had it on for 500 miles.

Probably makes more sense to just grab the tires. I think they’re 285s is the only thing I’m worried about on my stock suspension

Some people have run 285s on stock suspension.

All depends on your wheels offset, base alignment, etc.

The Pro fox shocks only offer 1" in the front over the Off Road's suspension.

If you don't do any modifications or get UCAs that push your wheels forward a lot you'll still rub at full stuff.

Some on here have gotten away with running 285's on the Pro suspension. Obviously he's running it. Doesn't mean it's optimal though. Maybe on road driving only..? Pretty sure you will have to spend that much to lift your stock Off Road to fit those 285's. I think I would get the whole kit and be done with it. I would love to upgrade to Fox Pro suspension some day though so I may be blinded with biased opinion...
