These guys are close to you. I’ve used Tyler a few years back and was happy. More recently I’ve been using South Carroll Sporting Goods in Woodbine, kind of far from you.

They have some lower level stuff but they also have some phenominal stuff.

All priced accordingly. So its a you get what you pay for kind of thing.

I like my Spitfire Prism 3x but what i don’t like about it is the reticle cant be focussed, so my eye has to adjust to be able to see the reticle completely. Aaaaaand the adjustment is only 1/2” moa. So its not the most accurate thing in the world. But i built the rifle it is on, for coyote dispatch and i’m comfortable inside of 300yards with it. I’m just anal about my shit shooting really well...thats all.

The quality of the product is superb. Its affordable as well.

They are pretty pimp! One them in the pile is an unfired 1951 Tula. Two are Sino-Soviet “ghost guns” and one is a Chinese in a laminate stock. When I bought it, I suspected that the Chinese one may have been an Egyptian Contract rifle but no joy.

I just bought one actually. my grandfather sold it 2o years ago and i was able to find the guy and buy it back fro him, cool to have one of his rifles back in my own collection since he has now passed. with it came 1400 rounds in a ammo wood crate, some "armor piercing" and some not. I did pick up a removable Ak style duckbill mag and it worked flawlessly

Anyone in here with 650 lb king coils that wants to make the switch to 700 lb coils? If so we can do a straight across trade, and I have the tools to make it happen.

I bought some Aluminum Primer today. Didn't know there was such a thing.

    aluminum-rust-oleum-professional-primers-254170-c3_1000.jpg

I also bought a 4.5" wire wheel for my 4" angle grinder. Gonna use it lightly on the bare, new skids, and add some pressure to the used skid I got off Jerry. Then prime, then the HF Armor bed liner paint.

Just as soon as it is a little warmer.

I took off tomorrow to do all this and do a service on the Taco. That was before it is going to be 4 degrees.
