    It is funny the uses that stuff has , up home we would put hay around the blueberry bushes if a frost was predicted before they were raked. We would also put them around the house foundation for insulation :}

Most properties have brick fences around them. 2 blocks over is a 55 & Older community that's almost vacant during summer. The homes around the perimeter have to have the drifted sand removed so they can get their drive through gates open when they get back for winter. Our bales stop a good portion of the drifting sand coming out of the north but not all of it. I have an old concrete mixer I made into a sifter to seperate the sand from the decorative rock in the front yard. I may break it out next week and start working the front yard while the weather is still cool and I have plenty of time.

There are lots of typing tutor games out there that are free and will help you learn to type while making it fun. I actually leaned how to keyboard with Mario teaches typing :anonymous: Only females took typing classes when I was in school so most of us didn't know how to type.

The CC should offer a class in basic office applications that I bet would get you through what you need. Don't worry about the email you sent, you would be surprised by how many people hit reply to all instead of reply, or reply to all instead of forward. Talking highly educated people and even those that work with computers. Pretty sure I am not the only one that could tell some embarrassing stories about doing that. Or at least others.

If it is something you want to do don't let the computer stuff stop you, Doug is spot on IMO. If it is something you want to do. I have gone to the top of the shitpile and can't climb any higher without a Masters degree. Not going to happen. I am happy where I am. If you are not and think you'd get more satisfaction at the next level grab that bull by the horns and throw it to the ground. But that is also worth what you paid for it

Still see a little bit of it around here but not much. Because round bales. Round bales everywhere. Just isn't right....

The kid next to me got discharged yesterday.
I’m still at 98% failure rate for workers in the bay next to me..

    Didn’t listen
    Didn’t learn
Expected stuff I told him first week wouldn’t happen.
    Especially getting paid....

You remind me of an old dude by the name of George when I worked my way from porter to a bay next to George at a local Lincoln mercury dealership a lifetime ago. Can’t repeat what he used to tell me cuz it’s banned worthy

Well he started swearing all day long and bitchin and complaining..
We all do but do it but under our breath.
He created his own problems with HR and started making waves.
He work declined and started being suspect...

    On edit
Plus going to the GM twice in one week with an attitude didn’t help also

    Yes.
Kinda sad how reality rears it’s head and you have to be more than the paycheck..
It’s not just about fixing cars..
I could make a lot more money but I sleep real good at night.
    I have my integrity..
I have respect from my peers
    I’m not rich, kinda poor.
Worked my ass off all my life.. but everything I have I own.
If they put “He Was A Pretty Good Tech” on my gravestone then I think
I have made my family proud
    I was asset....

These kids is all about the money. No matter what anything for the buck.
Unfortunately business has gone that way.
    They run the numbers..
    You need to produce more..
Quality??? Long gone ,,,,,,,left only to the old timers.
    Yea I guess I’m old..

The business will kill you unless you learn to just do your job and do it right.
    Forget the numbers.
Do it for you not for anyone else.
Unfortunately I struggle with this everyday now.
So much working against us now..

And they wonder why the trades are in trouble.
