Rough fucking co-ed league soccer game tonight. First game of new session, and had to be against the team we played and barely beat in the final of the previous session.

Obviously they loaded up... Probably on purpose and with us in mind. And what did we do?? Well... We lost one of our best players because he said he needed to sit out a session, picked up a HUGE scrub that looks like he never even kicked a ball because that was the only way another one of our really good players would play again (the kid is his boss's son). Add that to one of our guys not showing up tonight, our best girl not playing because she's sick, and another girl not showing up either, and it all adds up to TROUBLE.

We got wrecked... The score doesn't show it because somehow I (and I'm not trying to brag here) played a hell of a game. Lost 5-3. Kept shots out that I don't even know how I was able to get to the ball. Yes, I'm the goalie.

Here's some info from my FITBIT that shows how bad I got hammered tonight. ROUGH.

 

Damn, goalies put in work in that game!

Good job defending the goal, Nuno. I imagine the ball spent almost the entire night on your half of the field.

 

Yeah... Just about. The very few times we managed to get to the other half, they would waste the shot or lose the ball.

 

Any hott ladies on the teams?

 

Some of them have good looking girls... Yeah.

 

Maybe next time I'll try to sneak a pic or two.

Had my own avalanche along the driveway 2 winters back.

 

Morning everyone. Happy Saturday.

 

Hooked up the trailer, and the youngest and I went to Agway in New Milford to pick up a ton of pellets.

He also "helped" me unload, and just got back inside. Just in time to watch my soccer team from Portugal play.

 

Happy Saturday! Gassed this pig up and got some sand for our hilly driveway today. Check engine light popped on during my drive home from the hardware store.

Seemed to be running just fine so I’m not worried about heading out in the storm, but it’s pretty annoying. Got it in June and it’s been to the shop four times already. And it’s got less miles than my taco. End rant.

 

That truck is a tank though

 

Haha hell yea it is. Even with the plow and about 400 pounds of ballast in the bed; can barely feel that extra weight.
