How many box games you get a year? Sweet seats.

 

I hate box seats, unless you know most of the people I find it really disconnected from the game.

I've been to games where the whole box watches an NFL game on the TV haha.

 

As I’ve posted before, I watched most of my hockey as a kid from boxes. Maybe it’s because I usually go to the games with customers, but I enjoy not being packed into small seats and being able to piss without a 20 minutes lineup lol. That being said the seats or box is only as good as where it is in the building. If either are up in the rafters it’s a crappy experience. A couple of months ago I went to an oilers game and sat in their served section that’s box like. I hated it, it’s way too far from the ice and the perspective just makes you remember how far you are from ice level.

 

Uggg maybe if LA didn't take the Wild to the shoot out they would've had enoigh in the tank to at least score.

 

It's a good point, I'm Calgarian and our arena sucks. I think my biggest problem is the people in the boxes still, I'm not a smoozer, I'm blue collar and I want to let loose with the idiots yelling at the refs. I adore lacrosse for the same reason.

I actually have Flames seasons tickets through work down in the lower bowl. I like our seats but we've had some real idiots in our section over the years. Usually drunk 25 year olds with borrowed tickets. Last playoff run we even had one guy try to randomly pick a fight with one of our customers who was a Ducks fans. Luckily the ushers intervened before any punches were thrown but the throwing of popcorn by the moron was completely uncalled for especially since my customer did nothing to provoke him. We won't get a box though. They're insanely expensive in Calgary for what you get. If anything we might look into moving into the Club section where it seems things are better.

 

Customer sounds like a class act. Give that guy a deal.

All the farms around where I grew up used to pool together for box seats. There was a time when they were less than 100k and mostly a tax write off.

Like I am not being biased or anything. If the teams were reversed I would have thought the same. 2 leafs fans I know both agree its a BS call. I just dont get it.
