It's beautiful though. Those hand carved insignias or whatever they're called, those are unreal man. I love seeing high quality work done man

 

call it an aftermarket CAI - we have a stock CAI

 

that tube (#10 above) that sticks out into your wheel well - used to I guess, that is sucking in colder air than your K&N under the hood.

 

Not mine, aftermarket CAI just has a spot where the maf goes.

Wonder if you can buy the plastic piece

 

Wait a minute, your truck should have it already. You have a CAI? My K&N CAI made me reuse the metal MAF tube.

Yeah the detail on it is insane. All four sides are hand engraved.

The wood is also really high quality too since it’s from a Tropical climate.

I hear ya. I was doing some work at the home of the CEO of NuSkin and I was chitchatting with them about some of the wood furniture...stuff was unreal. A huge like armoire thing from France I think it was and was all made by, wood peg shank things for fastening etc. Was from early 1900s or something. And I mean it was like museum quality. I totally should've got a pic, it's a shame

So you do have a CAI?

Then you will have that metal tube already. Most CAI’s make you reuse the MAF tube.
