I did, I have a spring compressor. Doesn't damage the collar if you do it that way.

I came to the conclusion that my creak noise is coming from the control arms and not the coilovers. I ordered a grease gun and some greases for the bushings and uniball. Hope it helps.

Hello, Can some give me information on how many treads to make my 2017 Toyota Tacoma Trd Pro level to match the back. I installed Deaver expedition rear springs part number #U402 stage 1 and King 14’’ ext coilovers with 650 pound springs. Ty

So do the math and make necessary turns up or down to level or match it.

Thank you, I tried turning it with the vehicle on jack stands with the tires off the ground and I started to bend the tool king sent me. I also have a Fox spanner wrench and still couldn’t move or adjust the collar on the coilover. So this weekend I plan on renting a coil Compressor from AutoZone and doing it myself.

hey folks, had my adjustable Kings on the truck for a few weeks and one real off-road trip. Has anyone smart written up a guide to the adjuster settings for different conditions? Specifically interested for fast desert whoops.

That’s nice, Wish I could find one like that. I got one from auto zone but it’s not a wall mount.

Thank you all for the help! I was able to adjust with a spring compressed tool from Napa auto parts. I found it hard to adjust with the springs on the vehicle and the tires off the ground. I ended up adjusting the left side with 12 Treads showing and on the right side 9 treads showing. I went to firestone right away and got there lifetime alignment after I got everything adjusted. I feel like king could of put a plate between the spring and the adjuster collar bc everytime I was turning the collar to adjust it would hit the spring in a certain spot and was hard to turn. Anyhow I going to order some new 17 inch rims and some bigger tires which I narrowed down to Nito ridge grapplers in the size 285/70/17. Thanks again for all the help. I’m will be selling the stock Fox trd shocks with the rev tek lift on top of that. It had the 1.5 spacer in the front and 1 and quarter block for the back with brand new u bolts. Thx again!

You might get clunking on droop at those settings. I had them at 12-13 threads and it developed a harsh clunk at droop. Lowered it to 8-9 threads and it rides like a dream, soaks up speed bumps :)
