Got some axe and shovel mounts from a company that I won’t mention (momma always taught me that if I didn’t have anything nice to say, then don’t say anything at all)

Anyway, since I ordered another set of mounts, I modded these to mount my traction boards

Had to drill the holes out to fit a 3/8 rod

Painted them and made some securing brackets

Finally put the bull bar, mud flaps, nerf steps, vent shades, bug deflector, and folding tonneau (from the 2018) on my 2019.

I have the struts in my cabinet, I know a good place for it (among all the other stuff waiting to get installed) but I’ve been looking at air rivet guns, they just seem like it would be much easier but I still haven’t made the purchase yet

    Recieved my pit pass :)
This year I'm pit manager for Hunkerdown Racing at the 2019 King of the Hammers.
I get to prerun this year. Next year I'm navigating. Greatest offroad race in America and I get to take the taco down as a support rig.

That's a decent setup. I used that camera before I got the Thinkware. Super small and good video quality.

Last and final update on this situation...

Heard back from Toyota today. They ordered the Power Master part for my truck. The Director at Wilsonville Toyota got Corporate to Cover everything under Warranty for me!!!!!!!! Part alone cost $3,200. I don’t even want to know what labor would have cost. I’m sure overall the bill would have been just shy of or at $5k. I will get a call Monday or Tuesday on an ETA as to when my truck will be done!!!

For those that have 2018 and 2019 models with this recall, you would be absolutely CRAZY to not take your truck in NO MATTER WHAT!! Get this part switched out for a new one. Do not wait until it’s too late and then it’s not weed anymore. I don’t care if You aren’t experiencing the braking issues or not. This WILL happen over time and then you will be STUCK with this bill. If you have a 2018 or 2019 model and you aren’t on the recall, I’d still call in to Toyota and try to get it switched out. This is nothing to mess with at all! It wasn’t a fun experience losing brakes. Let me tell you.

I cannot wait to get my truck back. Yay!!

I haven’t been following, but did your brakes just go out completely or did they just get mushy? I have a 19 and now I’m worried.

Is yours a 2017 or is this only a 18-19 thing?

After installing BumperShellz on my Tacoma earlier today, I stopped by my local Ford dealer to compare the Tacoma and Ranger. The Ranger is impressive!
