    Evening All!

On the topic of the bang bangs..

Linked is nice if stationary or mobile (vehicle). Sucks butt on foot having to carry it though. That is even if it's spread out over a few people.

    Right on!

    Same here.

Now to break it down some more.... Full size and shorties also make a big difference. To me anyway.

That said.. Always did like the MK19. Seeing the "split second" round leaving the barrel was always cool to me.

I watched a brush fire in ft sill start because soldiers were told not to shoot a giant brush pile with the MK 19. those rounds are like 18 bucks per or some such ridiculousness

    Nice!

    They were always great.

Not to do the, Who's got a better story..

I have been on the range at Ft. useless (5.56) and seen half of it go up in smoke. Dang near the same at Ft. Polk. tracers were almost guaranteed fire anywhere with .50cal.

usually if fire is a hazard they try and close down ranges. When a fire starts they always act surprised when it happen

    Right..

You ever get time on it?

Back in basic.. I was one of the few lucky who got to tote that oinker around. Yay me. Didn't get any real time on it till the Gulf War. Even then it was mostly quals. and some free range time with it.
