Correct, the barrel is not in the pic. I am going to just put a magpul MOE stock on it unless someone wanted something like a magpul PRS stock or something (which they would pay for of course).

I was just curious what type of barrel is on the Spikes.

 

It's a Red X Arms barrel.

That looks awesome, I built my first AR last year and I'm hooked. You have some nice builds

 

I love the finish...did you do that yourself? Do you ever get any log/larue/bcm stuff to build? I got an old BuschMaster but I’m thinking about converting the upper and lowers to something else eventually.

No the finish is done by Aero Precision. I pretty much stick to my core suppliers for uppers/lowers whom are Aero Precision, Spike's, and Strike Industries. Every now and then I throw in Trinity Force/Davidson Defense due to getting good deals. I've got some random Spike's lowers if interested like the PHU Joker and others.

 

You might have to educate me on what are some solid company builds...what would you charge to build one? My goal would be to have a brake on the barrel, floated barrel, larue mbt trigger with a good ris rail system. My thoughts if I were to buy a complete then a larue tobr, but if a build could achieve similar then I could be interested.
