Yea I agree man it’s not that common to see these builds but this is the desert where they are much more pricy to exist compared to the east coast. Oh I was referring to a bed side decal...would be cool if you decided to get a custom one made depending on if there was a theme you were going for. I was only explaining the reasons why mine looks the way it does.

I was curious to see how the Brembo UV coat holds up. Supposed to be a pretty thick water based "clear coat" that's UV cured onto the rotor. Supposed to be way better than e-coat/geomet.

Quality wise they are basically on par with Centric. Not pooping on Centric, I have their blanks on my Miata.

YES! That’s what we’re on. Dave Ramsey, he’s the man. It’s definitely a lifestyle change but for the better.
    Congrats on your progress man!

Aaaah. Shit I went in too deep. Lol
Honestly I don’t have a theme yet... I think? Just a somewhat capable 2wd daily with a locker lol
Realistic end goal for the next few years would probably be a decent lift like ome, one of those slimline or whatever bumpers with a winch.. maybe a roof rack or a bed rack to place recovery gear since I’ll need all I can get lol & maybe an rtt for camping. All depends on what job I get after graduation

Def a very capable set up. I know ome isn’t the nicest feel on trail but is an overall balanced lift to achieve that height. The fun thing about a build is letting the trail decide what you need next.

You mean as far as funds for a lift? I would go wheeling and when you are out see if you can try out different rigs with different set ups. Some will have more bling than needed and others not so much. It’s seeing and understanding what you want the truck to do that should give you the path going forward. I love Dh mountain biking and hitting things fast...so LT fit my style when on dirt so bam the truck is what it is. If I didn’t have comfort in speed, I would have stayed mid travel.

It’s a good time regardless of skill level and there are many good trails here.

Ok he is talented and has an obsession which I like!

    Are they stainless?

The FIL smokes his cigars outside so it would have to be weather proof and heavy enough no to blow away during monsoon season.

    Thanks!

    You too!

I see your getting aggressive and selling your truck! You need a bumper sticker that says “Dave Ramsey makes me drive this” when you get your temporary wheels!

We were in the same boat, bought the truck in November and started the Ramsey plan in April. I was ready to unload the truck but the CFO ultimately said we should keep it since I hadn’t had a new vehicle in over 9 years while she had 2 in that time.
