I dont really rock crawl I mostly use my tacoma for hunting and camping occasional towing and construction work. These should work pretty good.

Hmm, never considered those. They almost look like Cooper ST Maxx. I’d like to hear how they work out. Especially once the snow starts flying. I’ve been looking at 255/85’s as well.

I know nothing about that tire, but a 10 ply is overkill IMHO for a tacoma. Could end up feeling a bit harsh, drop MPG.

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
I beat the living shit out of a set of Mastercraft Courser STR’a. I’d buy them again. Want to see a pic of your truck with the new shoes! Good call, I believe

Everything I read says these should clear on my off road suspension. If not I'll have to lift,oh well. I'll post another when I put on the tires.20180519_085609.jpg

@stimp How are you liking those tires so far? Any snow driving with them yet in Maine?

Yeah they worked great in the mud and on the rocks. The snow was ok due to the 10ply compound and large lug all in all pretty good. They are studdable....

Any rub issues? Decreased mileage due to added weight?

I've been eyeing Dynapro AT/Ms myself since I can't seem to find C load KO2s locally. Any thoughts?

255/85r16 is the size master craft courser cxt there 10ply about 33.2 in tall. They dont rub anywhere and I got about 5k miles on them so far. My mileage went from 18 to 15 for where I drive.

I’ve got 20k on a set on my 17 OR, it’s lifted and has about 800lbs of camping stuff, tops, ext.. they wear like iron. Great off road and actually very very good in snow. No complaints when they wear out I’ll put another set back on for sure. I run 50psi out back and 35psi up front.

So far I got 6k miles on them. Through hunting season and deep snow. The ride is slightly stiff but not significant. The mileage dropped 2-3 mpg but I also have remote start. I will deffinatly buy this tire and size again. They show no signs of wear or cupping. I run them at 42 psi. So far so good.
