    Hi all,

I'm looking to pull the trigger on dual cases this spring and I am finding that everyone does a really crappy job of describing their products!

I'd like to clock the transfer case while I am doing this, and it appears that Marlin has a 10 degree option, but there is no mention of it on his website.

Trail Gear makes no mention of clocking

Inchworm seems to have had the best option, but I don't think they are around any more - they just vanished off the face of the earth....

    Anyone have any insight?

    Thanks!

TG cannot be clocked, Marlin can 10* and Inchworm is gone. Marlin is 1+ year wait

Marlin no longer offer that for their tacobox from my understanding. All MC updated adapter are no longer fab with that option. Buy used?

Beside the flat belly look, there's not much benefit from it because you have to consider your gas tank since it's sitting lower then the case. Also, there's a lot of cab pounding for clearance and majority of the time, rock will clear case without clocking.

IDK about the dual case question but this guy has been advertising his kit for a while

He’s 3rz so that r150 trans doesn’t help him, nice deal if you need a trans but the 2.28’s are a bummer

I think a 23 spline 4.7 setup from TG is $1400 if you can find a cheap donor top shift case. Throw in $350 for a dual cross member and $200 for driveshaft retubes and you’ve got duals for right at $2k

Thanks all. I talked with Bud, he doesn't offer the clocking plate any more. Had trouble with it leaking.

Not sure how Marlin stays in business if that is truly his lead-time!

    Trail gear it is.....

    This fell out tonight

You didn't have to drop all that for the crawl box

I’ve put a bunch of road and trail miles on my TG doubler with no leaks or problems...

Did you manage to get your hands on a crawlbox?

Small world, we emailed back in 2012 when Gary put us in touch when I was contemplating building an fj40. I sold it before starting the build though. Was in way over my head.

Ok, yeah I think you were the guy from NYC?

I have a gear driven case. Just got the parts to convert it to top shift yesterday.

Hoping to order the adapters next month.

Yup, NYC. I’ve got an extended cab ‘96 right now. I tend to drive more north for wheeling than I do towards PA.

I found a new old stock inchworm case a month ago. Going to install it this spring.

What adapters are you going with?

I'd like the Inchworm because it is clockable, but it looks like the only game in town right now is the Trail Gear adapter.

Do you have a crossmember mount for the t case installed? I can't find a company that makes one for a taco box

I've been running the stock crossmember only. Working fine so far. Still on my to do list....

Remains to be seen I bought the tires and wheels the rest came along
I could understand if you live in a apartment with no place to work.

How do people build these Trucks being unable to fabricate their own parts.

People quit selling the clocking adapters because the market dried up and those that wanted them made them.
