Posted my phone mount scheme if anyone is looking for ideas. Is the USB port meant for charging or strictly data?

    No, duratracs again

Returned my new wheels. No point in doing that if I’m going to trade it in, trading in with stock alloys is always better

USB is very low amp, sux balls for charging. I got a cig lighter USB which is 4a x 2 if I recall the Params correctly. Works like a champ.

USB works for updates to headunit tho

Well, that's for 2 buggies...but 3 sets of rims for each buggy is a lil overkill. In the boxes are the orig RAV4 steelies 17" 5 lug (rusted) that are going to the curb on Tuesday unless anyone here wants them. My factory 17 sports will likely be my winters after this season. My current 2nd gen beat up winter alloys with TPMS will go up for sale. And if I like the ride, the 16 OR factories will be summers.

Duratracs are good off-road and in the snow. Just a tad loud on pavement after some tread is worn.

The vr series are shit. Essentially the entry level winch for warn. Issue is their solenoids corrode.

The smittybilt winches (x20) has a fully sealed Solonoid. Believe the CTV is similiar.

Also I have the Superwinch tiger shark. After a couple years of daily driving this is what my solonoid looked like (relocated under the hood)

Thanks for sharing. For what it's worth, the welds this time look better than they did on my 2nd gen. Different technician. Of course, not looking for show quality here, just cutting and splicing into OEM piping (and the factory robotic welds are typically ugly anyway).

Have Duratracs myself. Since at least 1/3 of my daily commute is off pavement, very happy with them

Price at the time. Got it on Amazon for $300 shipped. Read good reviews on there and here.

However if you are looking to get synthetic down the road and are planning to get steel and switch make sure the drum can handle synthetic.
