1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

It's ok, most of the Marvel Netflix stuff is like whatever but I do enjoy watching them. Well except for Luke Cage, Iron Fist, & Jessica Jones. Iron Fist is absolute crap & I'm not a fan of the Jessica Jones chick.

All the Marvel Netflix stuff is being cancelled so I figure might as watch them now in case they get taken down.

 

Oh but he does surf I take it? I've only body surfed man, and boogey board lol. When I lived in Virginia I lived at the beach if I wasn't working

 

the story is meh, it just jumps right in with zero character development at all...and the acting/writing is awful. Surprising because there are some big name actors in it

 

Anyone know if softoppers are the same for first, 2nd and 3rd gens as long as they're for the right bed length?

 

If this is true I am gonna kick my own ass because I assumed they weren't and passed on a used one for a 2nd gen

 

I remember reading somewhere that they were, but needed to confirm.

Edit: 3rd gen's is different than 2nd gens

 

I think so too, now that I think about it. Yeah the outside edge to edge 2nd gen was bigger but inside side to side and length the same I think I read.

 

Yeah he lives in so cal and is a surfer dude

 

No 2nd gen and 3rd jen beds are wider

 

Supposedly they sit inboard more on 2nd gens

They're really not for rock crawling even though the pic makes it look like that's what the owner used it for.

 

Dont do it theres too many surfers as is hahah. I laugh everyime I read about people trying to keep trails and camp spots secret. You guys are channeling your inner surfer. We do the same with surf spots and certain reefs/tide/swell combos

 

That rig shouldn't be crawling rocks.

 

Once it gets it hooks in you, surfing is like the mafia, you dont get out till your dead

Well 5th gens great. But it’s too big compared to the 1st gen tacos and 3rd gen runners

 

So i should sell everything then buy a vw bus and movie to the beach?
