On passenger side there is a hole that you can screw a bolt through under headlight, not sure on size I just guessed and found one that fit. Saves from drilling into your metal5D541937-330C-46A5-B4CD-DFEAFC1D8F1C.jpg430A3E19-B44A-4142-BDE4-CB189EB7B43C.jpg

I did not receive both of that information either in my box. :/ I will have to check the bulbs now. I definitely paid for the Phillips.

Well, I did not receive documentation and this is what they look like. So I am confused.

Your order says 5000K. The Philips bulbs are 4300K.

Well shiii. Mark me as disappointed! First line says The "Xtreme HID" kits are made with Phillips quartz , then at very bottom says 4300k Phillips. So i paid the same price as the actual Phillips bulbs, but since I went 5k got non Phillips. Lame.

Certainly hope the 3 year warranty applies to all bulbs evenly.

Oof. Mistakes happen. TBH, you may be better with 5000k bulbs anyways. The 4300k bulbs had way too much shake for me...granted my 5000k bulbs have some shake too but its live-able.

No, the upgraded 4300 bulbs are not 154, they add like 40 to the order. You got 5000k which a lot of people have and love. Enjoy man, you will be happy.

Wait they pay 200 then? and I paid more for an upgraded ballast? I understand the VOLT kit comes without Phillips . That is usually on sale at 105. I paid the extra 40 for the "Xtreme" kit. But all i get are perhaps slightly better ballast. That seriously sucks. Again... unless everyone is paying 200. I do believe that Xtreme kit is a waste then. I hope I get corrected. I again bought the Xtreme kit vs the Volt kit for Phillips bulbs :(

Checking out for a 4300k kit does not give you the option for Phillips bulbs either. Its the same price.... this rather sucks to pay that full 150 (sale price. normal 229) for a kit i thought I was getting name brand bulbs for. I could of easily saved the 40 bucks and got the Volt kit.

This also begs the question how do the 4300k guys know they are getting Phillips 4300k if they don't have the option. Looking now at the site at the bottom it list,
"Xtreme H11 HID kits are available in 3000K, 4300K, 4300K Philips bulbs, 5000K, 6500K, and 8000K. They come with a 3 year warranty that is handled directly through us – deal with a North American company." How do they select them?

I believe I paid 170 for my kit with 4300k Phillips. I have no idea why you are upset paying 139 for your kit with the 5000k bulbs. Maybe they switched things up, I got mine 6 months ago. Just install them and enjoy them or speak to @XenonDepot about it.

Just bringing my concerns to the forums now that they have been brought up and shared with other members. Hope mine, lardawge , Radicals , and future shoppers concerns are answered on the situation. And just not a big fan of their XtremeKits photos labeled as "featuring Philips bulbs"... when its only their 4300k. Ranting after the fact. :/

Still no reply from these guys. I will not be purchasing from them again. Hopefully I can get a refund so I can find a more reliable source to purchase HIDs from.

Based on a review on their site, they may have changed ownership. Not sure. Something has changed based on previous positive reviews vs current response rate.

Looks like @XenonDepot has not logged in since Jan 4th to TW. Maybe a phone call today during business hours will clear up peoples concerns.

I reached out to XD and nothing... I did see on another forum that it appears they sold out to another company and philips bulbs are no longer offered on their website. I found another site selling philips rebased in a few options. HIDconcept.com I’m going to give these guys a try since XD is MIA.

Interesting, I went to their site and the Philips bulbs are not on the drop down anymore. Mine are going great so hopefully no issues anytime soon.

I would have been fine paying the extra if it was an option. I would have opted for the 5000k bulbs instead of these 4000k bulbs they sent me that I didn't ask for. Then, not a peep from them over the last 7 days of trying to reach them. That is the part that bothers me. I do not want to deal with a company that is this hard to get ahold of. If I have an issue, it would take forever to get a fix. It also looks like they are pretty closely tied to The Retrofit Source since that is where the PayPal invoice is from. I wonder if both companies have changed ownership.

What's the status with these guys? I was going to order the HID kit until I read this thread.

At the very least hopefully the TRS bulbs will be a plug and play with the xenon depot ballasts. I wouldn't want to have to buy an entire kit again just for new bulbs!! The Xenon depot 5000k bulbs were the best
