    Im working on a couple test cutting boards, I got to get some pics, its maybe 1/3 done LOL. Lots of gluing going on...Im about 99% on a plain hickory...yeah i know some people said its not the greatest. I just need to either route the corners or sand the corners so they arent sharp.

    If you had them for sale was going to support here instead of etsy or some shit, good looking boards man and awesome gift for your sisters wedding. You should router a suace edge around it the more purple / blue the better lol,

    They are beautiful. How long does the color stay vibrant like that? my experience with Paduak is that after a while it will turn a grey color.

    Something to keep an eye on. A quick sanding will bring the color back. Purple heart just gets darker with age.

    Side note, my old boss once had a crazy allergic reaction to purple heart dust. He got an itchy rash all over his body.....I mean "everywhere". Lol

    Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
    I've never had that issue with purpleheart but I've had trouble breathing after turning zebra wood. I won't touch it without a mask on now.

    You can also bring the color back with heat on purpleheart

    Hey guys, I am looking at a house with original wood flooring from 1955. I cant say for sure what type of wood. Its really light in colour and bout 1.5" strips.
