Just picked up my 3rd get TRD Off Road with JBL sound system. When I use Siri, her voice comes from the left front speaker and sounds like it was transmitted thru a cheap walkie-talkie. Not only that, the delay created by the bluetooth is horrible. Not only that, the microphone in the truck forces me to disconnect for calls and talk directly on the phone because nobody can understand me.

I had a 2nd gen Tacoma, and now remember the microphone issue was similar. It wasn't until I purchased a 2016 Silverado LTZ Z71, that I realized there was better bluetooth tech out there (much clearer mic with standard CarPlay). In fact, I purchased this new Tacoma, assuming it would work seamless with Apple. I assumed all vehicles would in 2019, lol.

Sounds like you really miss your Z71. I have no issues with phone calls, voice commands or anything Bluetooth related, but I have an Android phone.

same same, except I have an iPhone and it works/sounds great... try repairing after fully removing the Bluetooth connection info from both entune and your iPhone.

I do miss it, except for the amount of time it spent in the shop related to the 8 speed transmission. My 2nd gen taco never had an issue (unless you consider the gear hunting on the hwy, same with my new one )
