Glad I am not the only one that didn't feel like going out to the store. So I didn't. Might grill after all. And blow soap bubbles while I am doing it to take pictures of as they freeze. The voices in my head told me to do it.

Is it just the majority of the voices that have to agree, or does it have to be unanimous?

My wife asks me who are you talking to, but I can’t hear her, so I don’t answer. She calls it selective hearing.

The voice inside my head told me to take a nap. So l did for 2 hours.

My dad would say the same thing about me when I was a kid.

Always wear hearing protection at work. I seen to many people at work retire and not hear. Back in the day they didn't offer hearing protection. I even wear it at home when cuttin grass, trimmer, chain saw and any power tools.

Well it got up to 5 above. -5 windchill. So I put on my big boy pants and shirt. AKA: wool long johns.

Cheddarwurst. Bacon wrapped little smokies. Topped with Sweet Baby Ray's at the end.

Was hard to get a picture once done, the heat coming off them created quite the cloud in the cold. But damn it was good. Worth it.

Within a year at my last duty station and according to the Navy Corpsman that tested my hearing I lost 20% of my hearing . Never worn any type of hearing protection

My shop was located next run up area and with 24/7/365 flight ops it was very noisy . Hearing F4's doing a Run up was loud , now add in C141 Star Lifters or C5 Galaxies was even worse

As for Healthcare from the VA for hearing loss , it's a joke !!! . The most disability you can get is 10% and you have to meet specific requirements
