I also ordered the gopro buckle mount and a low profile add a fuse and tapped into the 30A Wiper motor fuse.

Sometimes it's the little (and free!) things... I've had the DMM for 2 months or so and my OCD kicks in every time I get in the truck and see the power cord dangling, so I decided to route it through the console and out the top of the trim piece. I unplugged the stock USB plug and tucked it back behind the radio and plugged in the lightning cable, then used a Dremel to cut a little hole in between the trim and the dashboard to fit the cable into:

Cut the absolute f#$k out of my cab mounts today, and the 295s STILL hit. Looks like I am gonna have to fiddle with the alignment and move the wheels forward. LCA cams to most positive, then move the upper ball joint negative.

Holy smokes...295's?? Good luck. I spent almost a year after lifting triming and cutting to get the rubbing to stop with 285's and spacers.

Day 2 of Sound Insulation Installation

It took a full 3 hours to strip the interior of the truck, so that was most of my morning. We had to head off to a lunchtime birthday celebration for our daughter-in-law so that put a bit of a crimp in my installation schedule. We didn't get back home until around 3:00pm which gave me enough time to install the CDL tiles on the underside of the roof and some melamine foam between the back ribs and around the perimeter of the moonroof. Sadly, there's not enough room to put the melamine forward of the rear dome light / 1st cross member as that's how far back the moonroof goes when it's fully retracted. After reinstalling the headliner I finished installing the CDL tiles on the back wall, riser, floor and B & C pillars and started to lay out the neoprene / CCF layer which I'll tailor for the install and then use as the template for the mass loaded vinyl. I've got the shifter, parking brake and all of the other hardware on the tunnel unbolted an ready to be lifted so I can fully wrap the tunnel. Not sure if this will be a 3 or 4 day project at this point. Too many other conflicts on the calendar this week.

And so it begins... seat and rear wall / riser plastic removed and the "factory" sound deadener (if you can call it that) coming out.

And with the cab stripped of its interior. The hardware on the tunnel will get lifted when the tunnel gets wrapped.

The headliner; what a PIA. There's no way to get it out of the truck with the doors on so everything had to be worked around the headliner. And who the hell designed the clip covers on the backseat grab handles?!
As you can see, there's big drop in the headliner just fowward of the dome light which is where the moonroof goes when it's retracted.
No room for the 3/4" melamine so still noodling on a work-around by putting a layer of melamine in the moonroof's sunscreen: I think there may be enough room.

No photos of the end-of-day progress with the CDL tiles installed on the back wall, riser, floor, etc.; got a bit distracted by the NFL playoffs.

There was a two week lead time, but I got a tracking number about a week or so after ordering. Make sure you order the black nylon, they will be stronger.

It is a lot of work. Because of the prinsu rack noise I did 100% dynamat extreme then dynaliner. Now the noise is coming through the sunroof. I had the same thought about placing something in the screen. I tried 2 pieces of 1/4 dynaliner but was too thick hitting something in the back when you slide it back. Did one piece instead but it's just laying in there. Didnt want to attach it permanently.

Yeah, there's not much you can do about the glass, so that becomes something of a control mechanism for just how far to go with the sound insulation. The CDL tiles should take care of the snare drum effect of the very thin sheet metal used on the roof skin, the single coarse of foam near the back of the cab should help with my real goal which is knocking down the road, tire & drivetrain noise... and most of that is coming in from the back-end of the truck. Like you, I'm just thinking about laying a piece of the melamine foam in overhead sun screen. But, if you had interference with just a 1/2" of material, 3/4" melamine probably won't work either. Regardless of what I do, my primary goal is to never go back into the headliner again... or anywhere else this sound insulation is going.

Well I can actually fit a couple of pieces in there if I just partially open in and slide them in and close it. But when you open it all the way they bunch up on something. That's why I just laid one in place. You will get a big difference in the back wall and back floor under the seats. No padding there at all.

Took a 100 mile drive to explore. Still super happy with the new wheel/tire setup & I only took a small gas mileage hit. Now I really want to find a MGM take-off front bumper but finding one without fender flare holes is impossible. I think I'm gonna have to break down, buy a factory bumper and get it sprayed to match.

Buy egr fender flares for your truck...ten you don’t have to worry about holes

If you didn't remove the white foam blocks in the headliner that sit along side and a bit forward of the rear dome light they might be the source. I took them out as it was going to be too tight to have both the 3/4" melamine and the OEM headliner foam right there were the dome light needs to be clipped into the cross member.

I didnt remove anything. You can open the sunroof and look in between the sun sunroof and cover with a flashlight to see. I think it's a crossbar. Hope you can make it work.
