Put a couple hundred more miles on the V2 tune. Throttle is definitely more responsive and gas mileage is up about 10%.

Once I get a good enough tune which I was hoping you guys could help me with I’m gonna spend the rest of my money of suspension.

Point me into the best bang for my buck I think I’ve got a pretty good idea what I need to do to max out my motor comfortably and it shouldnt cost too much money maybe 4k. Going off roading next week with some Rubicon buddies but it’ll be just as is now. Really want to sell my gen 1 so I have all the equity to put into this gen 2 asap.

 

Its is a s/c forum thread. /bankruptcy rabbit hole. In the long game an LS motor will have more results than our 4.0 for the money.

 

I guess if or when I blow it then I’d do the swap. probably same cost as upgrading internals.

These are specific hotrods for sure. It all costs lots of money. Just depends on what you like. There are MANY pages here for you to research.

 

So you’re suggesting I sell my supercharged engine and swap it for an ls and maybe break the same difference at the end as the 4k to boost it more. And then I’ll have way more power out put to play with and reliability? That does make sense.

Doing an LS and t56 swap is the way to go for achieving over 400 rwhp and room to spare. But incorporating 4x4 to that motor/trans setup would be challenging to say the least.

All depends on the budget. If I had lottery capital I'd give my motor away and get a twin turbo 7.0 liter. But that's me.
