When you start the thin oil residue where you say it streaks is where your level is. Looks like its above the fill level. Problem? Who knows

been over filling mine with no issues, our oil pan is so big that the extra just chills in there. I buy the 5L jugs and just put the whole thing in, don't feel the need to keep 1L just hanging out in the bottle lol

Yeah I look like this when I’m trying to get a read on my oil level.

If the stick has oil on it, it means it’s not dry so fine by me.

Well guys I splurged and got a tent Amy and I are both happy with and should last us a VERY long time. North Face Mountain 25 4 Season.

    https://www.thenorthface.com/shop/mountain-25-en-ca#hero=2

We went back and forth at Sail and MEC. Looked at generic brands and a bit more flashy like MSR (I really didn’t want to get another hubba hubba after selling mine). We couldn’t find one we both liked and both agreed on but she loved that one. I loved it but didn’t like that it was $820 and packed pretty large for canoe camping... so we walked away from it. Well we looked online and they actually had a promotion where it was 30% off, I think it was ~$574.

So I rushed out after plowing this morning and I went to get it but they only had the floor model left. I looked it over and only thing wrong was dirty footprints inside the tent from people goin in it in the store. Sales guy was super nice and gave me an additional 15% off. So all in all I paid $509. She really wanted to split the cost 50/50 but I just told her to give me $200 and buy me a mcdonalds dinner lol. Also bought a compression sack to cut down the footprint of the packed tent in my bag, just need to keep the poles separate.

AND I got a 115L MEC portage bag. Getting really excited about getting out and exploring more next year!

Sorry for the wall of text lol none of my friends care about this kinda stuff.

fun afternoon! Though, looks like I have a small puncture middle of the tread on my passenger front tire. Since I was monitoring my TP the entire time figure it was when we pulled off to the side at hwy32 and hwy124.
    Hopefully it's repairable!!!

I have a plugged puncture in one of mine I didn’t notice when I bought them. It’s too close to the sidewall to patch. I just put some rubber cement over top of it and I check it every week, it’s not leaking so I’m happy lol.

Really eh. I’ll check mine. Don’t have sensors so I’ll check them over the next couple of days.

You guys pulled over on the other side of the bridge on 32. So you'll likely be fine. Went from 29 psi at that stop to 23 psi by the time we left black bridge. Arrived home at 21 psi (stopped to get smokes on the way home and found the leak between some of the centre treads). So, I'll hit KAL tire in the morning.

Floor model stuff is pretty decent sometimes, the discount with those items can be awesome :cookiemonster:

I love my compression sacks for my rain gear I use on my motorcycle, they make so much better use of limited space.
