I'll have to try and dig up some old pics when I am home. Black on black and was sexy. Was paid for and stupidly got rid of it.

That's what I'm saying. The VR6 is an Accord engine compared to the W8. Sounds amazing though.

Always wanted to play with a V10 Toureawughdgfgg as well (However you spell that.)

I had 200k on my 2.7 24v GLI only needed normal wear items as well.
The 1.8t was a beast the 2.slow was the pig.

I meant the Vr6 was finicky about over heating. There was lots of plastic bits that broke constantly. Stupid plugs and wiring falling apart and having to repin and solder in new plugs. Just stuff like that.

Yeah that sounds about right.

The 1.8t had so many god damn generations and they all consistently broke. My '16 Jetta had the 1.8t and it was the most lethargic, detuned piece a shit on this planet. Same deal with the NA 2.0 except those actually did 0-60 in like 12 seconds or something ridiculous.

I had a hard time getting along with a lot of the owners as well, I never seemed to care as much about some of the idiosyncrasies they obsessed about.

    A thing or two...
I had a set of Oz Racing wheels with R compound tires for my Saturn I autox'ed back in college. They were 15s. I want to say they were Superleggeras.

It was definitely different back in the 90s that's for sure. I loved going to Englishtown for Waterfest and doing a bunch of the club racing events but that was the crowd I associated with within the VAG community. We raced all over the east coast. It was a blast.

Same, hah. I only got along with the people who I was friends with before buying VAG products. Also, older people who were involved in the scene.

Anyone in here with 650 lb king coils that wants to make the switch to 700 lb coils? If so we can do a straight across trade, and I have the tools to make it happen.

not into the Corrados myself too heavy and cumbersome. I like light and nimble. Thus the 92 and earlier golf, jetta, rabbits, and Scirroccos are more my flavor. Plus I like that styling. The 80s and early 90s euro cars are my favorite the newer stuff just looks too eh to me.

This was around 2014 so that might explain it, haha.

My A4 was low, but not #stancevapenation low.

    Which are the 650 884s, 885s?
Yes I do, want the 700s for when I add the bumper.

These are 3" ID coils for coilovers like king, fox, icon. Not the same as OME springs.
