Your welcome just gotta remember batteries are heavy beasts and adding something that weighs more without reinforcing it will eventually cause a failure. I am going to move mine to the bed in a battery box. It'll also free up some space in the engine compartment.

From today. Food was so goo
Yea, I would look hard at the OEM tray. Make sure it could handle it.

I wonder if anyone knows the actual weight difference?

Met up with Randy, his lovely wife and Tyler at the Peruvian chicken place. Food was good (no one could finish, my burrito was 4 lbs!), the company of course, was great! Got my "rear diff diaper".

I think Randall and Tyler are still drinking hot coco because they were frozen. To be fair, I can get away with short sleeves in 40 degree weather since I'm built like a polar bear. :D

Also, you'll notice my Devil Horns On Fire are absent.

Removed them yesterday. Today when I got home I removed the anodizing. I'm sending them back to have them redone. The salt here killed them. I will add a couple coats of clear coat when I get them back.

    Before, front.

Before, back, gives you an idea how the front used to look.

    20190120_152121~2.jpg

After, two oven cleaner treatments, 0000 steel wool, dawn dishwashing detergent.

    20190120_171510~2.jpg

    20190120_171547~3.jpg

Gonna cost me $25 to have it redone.

Woah, that really faded! Going to look nice with it nice and fresh. You going to wait until spring to put them back on?

No, I'm going to use a clear coat rattle can Andre's recommended. He doesn't offer the service. With clear on them the salt wont affect them like it did the last two years.

OMG! I went outside today! jebus it is cold! like frostbite in seconds cold! BRRRRRRR my friend got rear ended not far from my house and she didn't know what to do. apparently the guy was giving her a hard time, so I went out and took care of it. it was damn cold, it was hard as hell to take a clear picture of his drivers license and insurance slip my hands were shaking so damn much  we got so much more snow then I thought! at least 30cm and its still coming down! had some fun driving the truck since I was out and about, plus I had to go drop the truck off at the dealer cuz im getting the recall frame coating shit done.

yeah luckily the guy wasn't being aggressive. it was just a tricky situation. he is a immigrant to Canada and is working as an uber driver. he didn't want to go through insurance because he didn't want to loose his job. said he would pay for repairs. got all his info and we are trusting he pulls through. I got a picture of his drivers license, insurance slip and license plate. so if he doesn't own up we will contact the police as well as involve the insurance companies. the damage was minimal, just a cracked rear bumper cover. it isn't an ideal situation and yes we probably should have called the police and not cared about his sob story. but :canada:

and if all goes sour. we know what he drives and where he lives. I also know people who can hypothetically make things disappear

Just red something this morning on batteries. A guy is planning to put 2x6V together instead of one big 12V, so he gets a better capacity....

I know it works, but you can't ask me how lol and also, you can't ask me if it worth it lol I am just saying that to mess more with the battery thing:stirthepot:

    edit: here are numbers : 220ah 125min@75A for 2 6v and 185ah 85min@75A for a 12v

that parking tho! Were you scared that Tyler put a dent in your door?
