I drove with mine torn for quite a while. There is a Toyota rebuild kit w/new boots and grease, but it is MESSY. I did my torn one and a spare I picked up at the junkyard. It's not a terrible process though

Finally getting around to installing my SOS mid skid. Its been sitting in the garage all winter. Sure hope I can find the two bolts @EddyRRT sent home with me and also which bolts he showed me to use at the back end.

I almost think that would've been easier. I ordered those aftermarket boots since they're marketed to be "tougher" for lifted trucks, but ultimately it was them rubbing that caused mine to wear and I could've bought OEM and stretched them. I ordered some redline cv grease, but since most people use the packets from toyota when repalcing boots I have to figure out how much to add.

Would definitely be worth a call. I've had my 5100s on for almost two years and the only thing rusty are the nuts on the top of the shock and even then it's just surface rust.

Dude come pick me up!!!! McLaren is always the silent less bombastic super car but they out preform all others in the semi-production super car realm.
