Highly recommend you look at the Cooper AT3 4S or LTs for a solid on and off-road all terrain that’s winter rated

OP - looks like Tirerack.com has the c rated version in your desired size in stock. they ship to Canada (I have used them a couple of times). may be expensive though.

It’s been said a million times, if you off-road your truck, the E rated will hold up better.

there's lots of trucks that do truck stuff way better than tacomas AND get better mpgs AND ride like a car. You can have the best of both worlds... just not with a Tacoma lol.

Haha ya by time things cross the border it can get really bad cost wise, especially if the materials in the products do not originate in the USA

reliability, I don't tow anything other than my bike and quad so having a high payload/towing cap doesn't matter to me, cheap to fix, cheap to maintain, makes a great trail pig. Not saying they aren't good trucks im just saying some trucks do truck stuff better.

    Right on.

It meets all my needs. One guy I worked with tried telling me his power stroke Ford can tow more. Like ya no shit it can . But I don't need to tow so why would I buy one?
Irony he claims he needs it to tow his 'boat'

Cause you know you need a f350 diesel to tow a fucking tinner that a fucking Corolla could tow

I don't think I could justify spending 100k on a truck just to haul stuff that a half ton could, I almost bought a lbz duramax back when I was dumb and thought diesel trucks were cool, glad my dad smacked that idea out of me.

I had one. Loved the hidden trunk and dual swing out tailgate. Wish my taco had those 2 options.

Great little truck, but didn't meet my Off-Road needs.

Now getting back to your bald head jokes.... :D

To assist with the storm? What do you do?

Back on point, E tires are overkill for trucks as small as ours. Even though its great to have the extra layers of protection when you're on dirt roads, in the woods, on old skidder trails etc its just not worth it if you're not going to need it (in your case as you said). I find that if I run more than 32 front/30 rear psi on the road the ride is pretty shit. Im not as heavy as most guys on here (yet) but Im not light either. Assuming my truck, driving habits, and end goal dont change a ton in the next few years, Ill probably be looking at C range tires when the BFG KO2s eventually wear out. So yeah Id wait, or get the ones you want shipped in from someone else

    That's what I said lol.
Idiot is paying $1500 a month because he had no down payment. Traded in his f150 that he still owed 26k on and only got 21k for it.
The guy was a fucking idiot and a useless apprentice electrician too.
