@stronghammer what's your take on remodeling vs return on investment. Are you doing the remodel for yourself or are you doing it for the sole purpose of selling?

I plan on going Saturday in my FJC.

 

I'm doing it for both reasons. Currently the house isn't very comfortable to live in, and I want to change that. Amy and I will be moving in to my house together when we get engaged and plan to stay here till we find the right house we want to buy. That could be a couple weeks, that could be a couple years. So we want to enjoy the house we have.

I am also doing it for resale. Not necessarily to make so much more in profit, though that will happen, but also to help with time on the market. When we find the house we want one day we are going to want to move fast, and don't want my house sitting on the market for months.

Tannehill is a good place for an event like this. It’s setup for the trade days so there will be a good vendor spot

 

I've never been there.

 

Its a pretty place, its a historical park. Then they have a big area for vender stuff. And a separate area for camping.

The furnace and the church at the top of the hill are a must see. I use to go camping there every year.

 

My wife and I are looking for good remote camping spots. We want to bring the dogs and not worry about leashes or being close to anyone. Hard to drive deep into the national Forest since so much is blocked off. Is there anything like that in bama? I'm not talking cheaha or wind Creek, but smack dab in the middle of the woods type stuff, tent in the truck bed.
