Both these birds reside in San Marcos, although Yellow Rose has two homes. I've been in the planes, and I get pretty regular flyovers on cloudless Saturdays and Sundays, when they come out to play. They fly some pretty regular patterns, and some of them include directly over head. They'll be out with fighters too, and I get treated to different formations, and wing waves.
And I got a thing for that radial engine sound.
So, they are special to me!
