Hard to hold back the excitement! I guess I’ve grown confident that new versions won’t introduce new issues... 1.05 was very good in my opinion and this so far is only better. You are right that more miles are needed for a full assessment.

I am seriously contemplating breaking the plane I'm flying today so I can go home and flash. These rich assholes and their accessory dogs can take the airlines for all I care.

Worth noting is that of manuals... a fifth (9 votes) of them gave it a 1) "Meh" rating. Slightly less than half of all MTs (26) were not inclined to give it the highest rating and there is no way to find out why unless you read the whole giant thread hoping they posted to explain themselves. Which I guess I'm going to have to do now.

It's also worth noting that the thread first launched back when 1.03 was the latest tune. I have a review in that thread and I think I updated it when 1.03B and 1.03C dropped, but stopped after that. So their reviews could very well not reflect their opinions of the latest tune available at any given time.

People were supposed to post the version and such... but I only got as far as page two and from the comments it seems like there were already some 1 votes but there are no explanations for them meaning it could just be TW arsewipes doing TW arsewipe things or ... whatever.

My warranty is up in 5100 miles so I have a little time to be patent and see if I wanna drop $750. All I can tell so far is people who love it, love it - and people who don't, didn't hate it they just didn;t like the value for the price. Still reading...

    Hi Mat @OVTune
Hoping I haven’t missed a step. Have you sent the registry files out for the 19 MTs? To the best of my knowledge I don’t have an email with the registry file. I had sent you my system ID a few weeks ago and didn’t want to fall thru the cracks since you don’t have my ecu version.

PSA to all new flashers (or people that haven't flashed for a while) -

After flashing get some miles on the truck. It takes some time / miles for the trims to set and settle in. Typically 100+ miles is good but a tank of gas is ideal. If you have severe issues after flashing, contact support@ovtune.zendesk.com and flash back to a previous file or stock tune.

Hey guys, For those of us with dongles, is he sending emails with 1.05 to us individually based on his customer list, or is like previous tunes where we send him an email saying we are a dongle customer and would like the new file? Don’t want to clutter his email if not needed.

The other poster and I were just BS'ing about MTs in general. My feeling it that there's a solid number of MTs folks other that should not be ignored, mainly as the MT take rate for Tacos is larger than typical profit percentages?

OTOH, it wouldn't be focusing on mods to MT Corollas at this point.

Yeah the "1 vote" guys were called out to back up their rating but IIRC never did.

One review you can throw in the garbage if he put one in there is Commbubba's. He went all apeshit calling the M/T a POS, and then bought a freakin A/T. Yeah...

    Lol, enjoy the read.

I don't think that is right. You should be either 04B12 (pre-TSB) or 04B13 (post-TSB). OBD Fusion, Carista, or Tactrix / OVT / TechStream will tell you.
