Looks great - tires even made the truck look shinier! :)

Ha, thx. Tires are so good... in-law just got some slim-fit Coopers for his tundra.

I’m thinking I need some slim rock sliders now tho

Anyone running a 255/85r16 with Stock Pro Suspension and a -25mm Offset wheel such as the SCS Stealth 6?
Really digging those wheels and I’m wanting the tall skinnies but don’t really want to upgrade suspension at this time.

Basically just wanting to know how much I’m going to have to cutout, beat and weld back in if any.

I’m planning a vacation next month to get my GFC and my 265/75r16 Wildpeaks are junk and out of round. They can’t be balanced and ride like shit.
I don’t know if I’ll have enough time to mod the truck out not to rub if I buy a set of wheels and tires before we go and they end up rubbing like hell everywhere.
    (5,000+ mile trip planned) :)

So, here we are two and a half years since I started this thread and I need a new set. I put about 50,000 miles on them and I have a little tread left, but not much. It doesn't look like there are any new options in that size, unless I'm missing something. Anyone?

Shoutout to @thedriza for this pic. I first camped here above the playa back in 1989. That tree in the rock was much smaller then, of course. Now someone has privatized the spot and you have to pay down at the hot springs.

I'm also chiming in because we are taking delivery of a 2020 TRD Offroad in a couple of weeks and we already have these bad boys on hand for it. 255-85R16 BFG KM3.

They will go on Method 704 in 16x8.

The plan also includes @Toytec Lifts BOSS Aluma Series 2.5 lift kit, @CBI Offroad Fab bumpers, Magnuson supercharger and more. Should be a sick rig. Love the pizza cutters!

So pizza cutters/skinnys still won't clear on a 3" suspension lift?

It's 2021 but I can attest to this... I'm running 255/85/R16 Cooper ST Maxx on my stock height SR5 DCSB. No rubbing at all. I did remove my air dam. It didn't rub, I just didn't like how it looks.

I been eyeballing the Cooper ST Maxx for my new Tacoma I got about 3 months ago. I am also wondering if you Tacoma gurus know if the new Mickey Thompson Baja Boss would fit? They just realised two 16 inch sizes.
    265/75/16 32 OD tire
    285/75/16 32.9 OD tire

They have all the measurements on the site and from what I hear getting pretty amazing reviews. Plus is they are three peak rated for snow and look great super aggressive sidewall but more like a ko2 like tread block pattern.
