Lens was a Canon 100-400mm at 400mm with 1.4x extender for an effective focal length of 560mm.

Nice. I opened the thread and saw that and was like... wait, I didn't post anything last night did I? You've got double the focal length of what I was using though. There are times I wish I'd gone 100-400 instead of 70-200.
