Bed racks on a budget

    I'm willing to bet they profit a few hundred bucks at least.
    Here's what I'll say though, if I had $1500 lying around to spend on a rack I wouldn't buy a cookie cutter one. Meaning I wouldn't want to have one shipped to me and have to assemble it myself. The best thing about making my rack was that I welded the thing while it was sitting on my truck. That means any imperfections my bed has were accounted for. I've seen some other guys building their own racks on here and it's always the same thing, they weld them on their bed. In my opinion that's the absolute best way to do something like this.

    I know there are some shops our there that will fab a custom one up for anyone but those are probably very expensive or done very basically and still pretty expensive. I'd rather build my own basic one for $40. Lol.
