    Morning gents!

Spent the day yesterday getting the remainder of our Christmas decorations put up in storage. In the process I noticed a leak in the roof, (luckily it is just over the garage) which isn't ideal beings as we have another major storm rolling through. Will have to have a roofer come out asap to figure it out.....hopefully it is something cheap and easy. After all, the roof is just barely 6 years old....@geekhouse23, being a home owner can suck sometimes!

Relaxing for a bit now, and then will go snow blow for round one...will likely have to go three rounds today with this storm.

I see your 44*, and raise you several inches of snow, with it still forecasted to come down all day!

Interesting day today! Go to leave at 7am (keep in mind it’s 12° outside) and my battery was dead. No biggie, I’ve been leaving my truck parked a lot and starting it for short periods of time to juggle cars in the driveway. I break out the battery pack and jump start it no issues.

Fast forward 50 min of highway driving and I stop at wawa to get gas. Go to start it and nothing, battery is dead. Get a jump and continue on. At this point I’m thinking alternator but it’s weird because it’s not showing any other alternator symptoms.

Get to joes shop an hour later and after I park, I try to start it again. Nothing.

3 hours later I jokingly exclaim “Alright Betty white, let’s see if you fixed yourself!” And she fired right up! Let it idle for a few min and cut it off. 30 min later go to leave and she fires up again.

Must’ve frozen the battery last night or something. Fingers crossed no permanent damage.

Yes owning a home can sometimes suck!! Trust me! Going through a few updates on the house now so there are no issues come spring when we put the house on the market.

Got the home Depot guy coming in less than an hour for the second measurements on some windows the wife and I are replacing. Guy bailed on Saturday when we were about mid-storm. Must not drive a yota

Time to bust out a multimeter. I had that issue last winter and finally had enough. Got her started, put some load on the battery (headlights usually are a good bet) poked my multimeter on the battery and she was pullin' 8 volts. Replaced the battery that day. No issues since then. :fingerscrossed:

Sounds like more of a battery issue. If it were an alternator after the battery was jumped it would end up dying on you while driving plus the battery light would be on. You are probably correct with the battery freezing. Odly enough AvE just did a couple videos on batteries recovering them and stuff.

I’ll have to check! I know I’m getting 14v while driving down the road but that’s just the alternator working I think

Oh geeze I would order a bunch and keep spares around that is an odd size. I mean really they couldn't of gone with something better like a Cr123 or in that realm that is taking over the flashlight world.

LMAO! Yea, that's my Mall Stance. No, what happened was I wanted to check some rub on passenger side front tire and I pulled up on the curb so Tyler and Randy could look at it. Well, they were freezing, got back back in their trucks and I wanted the photo so I quickly pulled next to Tyler but was farther away that I wanted to be. They needed some hot coco.

Got my new diff thong in. Apparently it’s made for pre ‘95 Toyota’s but with a little work I can bend it to fit my diff.
