No, I got the SLE with the off road and z71 package, so 17's. I think that's why it was still on the lot, everyone wanted the Elevation package with the 20's at that time, so my truck was getting driven by the salesman.

The Goodyear Fortitudes that came with my truck have seriously lost a lot of traction and handling as they have worn. They aren't even at the wear bars but they need to go. 41,000 miles.

The Tacoma seats can get REALLY hot on the high setting, I don't think I've ever used it, although the wife loves it. Her Jeep seats don't really get all that hot. I can maintain them on high and on low I barely feel them.

If I was doing heated seats from scratch I'd control the bottom and back separately. I'd love to be able to crank the lower back and leave the bottom off as I find when I get truly cold it's because my lower back is cold.

The Jeep has a heated wheel. It's kinda neat, I guess, but I only ever use it to get rid of the cold. I don't really like driving with it on, but that initial get the cold out is kinda nice. The Jeep has a remote start which kinda makes everything moot in terms of what needs to be heated and not. I'd love to do a remote start on the Tacoma, but I park in gear religiously. My emergency brake froze last week, so I've been barely engaging it and I don't fully trust it.

My dad passed in 1995. If he were to come back and ask for an update on Boston sports teams, it would be pretty wild since at that time the Patriots showed a brief flash that they weren't going to be laughing stocks forever, the Celtics were done, the Bruins were acceptable but not great and the Red Sox weren't ever going to be special.

    How times have changed.

I probably started paying attention to sports around 1998 when I was 8 years old. God damn has it been fun to watch Boston teams hahaha. I have been spoiled

I just told someone tonight, my grandpa passed Valentine's Day 2002..good reason to hate that day.

For the 11 days between the Pats' first Super Bowl win and his death, he was able to say he saw all the 4 teams win it all..still vividly remember the 1918 World Series win.

Now my 15 year old nephew can say the same thing.

Where are you skiing around the albany area?

Now correct me if I am wrong, but you were moving to maine with your GF and getting a rental somewhere. Did that change and you are buying a house now? If so congratulations! If I have you confused, sorry

20's are stupid IMO on almost every car, especially trucks/suv. Good choice on the 17's. I do e-rated tires on all my cars and have for the past few, get some sidewall and never worry about a flat again. I like a solid feel in the corners that the extra stiffness of the e-rated tires give you and as long as you have some sidewall, the rest of the drive isn't bad either. Only downside I see is MPG's...but I own a truck, not a prius so I don't worry about it for the most part.

Lots of the Fords on lots around here had 20" wheels on them. They're a $1000 option and I had zero interest in them. My truck has 18s.

I stuck with standard load tires, though. For what I do, an LT tire would just give me extra weight to lug around and a stiffer ride.

Here is my thought on 20's. For a truck, where you are banging around and going on worksites/off road etc... it just kills the ride quality on a car that already has somewhat rough ride quality compared to a sedan. Just doesn't make sense besides for looks. If you are a mall crawler, go for it.

For a charger..or any other sports car where big surface contact and grip is the name of the game...get them as big and wide as you want. Obviously there is a point where you degrade your ride where it isn't worth it, but in general I get the idea and it makes sense to me.

Just on trucks and suv's that actually go off road, or honestly just the shitty roads around here, 20's are silly IMO.

That co-op looks really neat! I am right down the road from Jiminy, not a bad mountain but it gets icy there fast!

I like Jimmy on nights and weekdays...I feel like the “6 pack” lift puts too many folks on the hill.
You should come over during a weather event and storm ski at skiventure. My buddies and I ski all night, lights on and music going with a fire in the Woodstove. It’s great, my arms usually give up before the rest of me!

Supposed to be heading to Orlando tonight for a company trip. The flight I'm booked on was supposed to leave at 8:30PM, currently delayed until 10:30PM. Should make for an interesting morning tomorrow as I have meetings starting at 7AM.
