    My guy @NoOne
Makes me feel like a cheap bastard. I only sent a few items(none he asked for) plus crazy shipping. It was around-$40-$50 all in ... but after @NoOne spent that much just on shipping part 1 of my gift.

    ..then today I get

I now need to send my person I ended up getting a apology for the crap gifts I sent him. I just thought it was $20 including shipping and I spent double that and it seems that has come up well short. Mostly things that were listed by my person just weren’t in my budget. $100 items and $25-35 shipping I just couldn’t afford. I hope shaming myself publicly will help others understand how truly grateful I am on the gifts I received from no one! This is my first time joining the secret Santa at Tacoma world....

You are the best @no one! My wife even told me to send a thank you gift!

I believe she is finding something to ship to you.

To the guy I didn’t buy anything on his list.. maybe a reasonable gift list? Lol

    Just kidding.

I seriously thought you’d like what I shipped....
I’ll be sending a little something out to my disgruntled reciever !

    Thanks,
    Bookiebob

I don’t think it’s fair to yourself to beat yourself up because you’re not in a financial place to spend $100+ on someone’s gift. Just my two cents! If they didn’t like their gift they could’ve made a more reasonable wish list.

JMO, but I wouldn't fel bad if you spent $40. The $20 is just a minimum..and like you said if something isn't in your budget there's no shame

Like everyone else is saying, spending $40-50 is plenty. I feel like the majority of the participants didn’t go over $100, especially not me. However, my giftee did have some cheaper stuff on his wishlist which was helpful.
It’s just not reasonable for someone to expect to get something worth $100 in a secret Santa when the minimum is clearly $20.

    Nope...

I wouldn’t feel so bad but I was expecting like a trd coffee mug or a Toyota golf towel.

    I publicly shamed myself.

At least I didn’t stiff my guy. It was several gifts. I should of sent a gift card but... oh well ..

Those that signed up and sent nothing, well..... you’re a bigger dick than me!

Dude, you’re not a dick.... those that didn’t send anything or had no communication or waited a month after the deadline to send something are the dicks.

As I always say at my part time job when someone calls me an asshole "No, I'm not an asshole. I'm THE asshole. That's A-S-S-H-O-L-E, double underline and 3 exclamation points"
