Mine was done by the dealer. One of those no-name eBay LED kits with the "metal foil" heat spreader.

Actually, it's not a coolant heater. It's an electric heater element that when you turn the thermostat up to Hi, with the defrost on which will heat up to to provide warm air to the windshield long before the coolant warms up.

    Turd gen problems lol

    I did the same.
If anything when mine burn out I'll just buy those higher up one's. You can get much better halogens and realistically how much light do you really need. The GTA roads have so much light.

And when I need more light on country roads I use my spots .They work better than high beams anyways

I changed the reverse lights with led as well no issues

There was a thread where they were comparing LED's to Halogen, long story short LED's appear brighter at close range but also cause more glare and the light is more scattered, does not get the throw (distance) that Halogens do because the LED is not in the same place, and have the same light pattern that the Halogen does, because the OEM lens and reflector was designed for Halogen.

ALSO here is the item that us Canuks have to pay attention to...
LED's don't put the heat out the front like Halogen do, that means your headlights will freeze over in the winter much much more easily.
These big bulgy headlight lenses just love to freeze over.
Last year during the freezing slush storm I was driving on the highway and when I got home I noticed that my headlights were covered in brown ice except for where the low beams were operating. If I was using LED's then I would have been out scraping off the ice or driving without use of headlights.

very good point on the ice.

and in all honesty so many ass holes put those LEDs or HIDs in projector housings not meant for it then blind the fuck outta me when pasing. And I seriously want to ram them off the road.
I'll stick to halogen just going to switch to a whiter bulb when they burn out as I find that light is a bit better to my eyes for seeing.

Most waste management sites take all that for free. I keep all my used oil in 5 gallon hydraulic pails. Bring it to a waste management site and they take it. Same with old paint, chemicals and shit.

The truck was traded from a dealer in Leo's neck of of the woods. They installed the kit some time last year.

LOL can tell they put the LED/HID themselves because they didn't re-aim their lights. I agree, I want to smack them too.

Also a another reason I'm looking for a Spot LED bar or pods. Thos f%^%er's will know they pissed somebody off. :)

Watch out for some of the "Whiter" bulbs, they dip the top of the bulb in a blue coating to achieve the whiter look and sometimes it really cuts down on the effective light.

i dunno if you've seen my truck.

light is not something I'm concerned with lol.
44 000lumens worth of light from the 4 spots and two pod lights

In the summer when I tested it up in Fenelon falls on a straight stretch that I knew the distance of i got just over 1km of distance out of my two spots on the front. and the pods give me more than enough spread close by.

I love blasting them at guys that have too bright of lights
