I'm looking to put some black headlights and smoked tail lights on my 2017 Tacoma but have seen a lot of negative reviews on the current options available. Does anyone have any experience or recommendations with aftermarket headlights or tail lights?

Do you notice any static from the radio after installing them? I read a few reviews and they mentioned something about the fan in the lights reacting with the radio and causing static.

How was the installation? I researched these a little bit but I'm hesitant about cutting the DRL connecting from my factory headlights and using that on the new headlights. Also, any issues with those bulbs in that specific brand of headlight? I've heard of some issues with heat in different bulb/headlight combinations.

Any pics of your new headlights by any chance?

    Thanks!

Soldering the old connector to the new lamp wires was easy.. can do it inside at your table with solder iron and some shrink wrap. Took me like 5 minutes total. Hardest part of the install was pulling back the front of the fender flair to get that btm 10mm bolt for the headlight.

Then I found and extra female connector that I couldn't find a home for right in front of the windshield water bottle (not it wasn't for the washer pump).... that took me an hour trying to figure out where it went. Never figured it out either.

The Hikari are nice....Happy with the new headlights too.
