Agree … yours looks cool looking but then again that's probably why I have a box full of grips lol.
I sure I'll be keeping the Hogue grips on my GP100 with the Red Dot on it, it just shoots too sweet and sets up like my other 1911's ..

Finally Shot the K6s I bought my dad for Christmas, shoots really nice. The cylinder movement and trigger pull is very smooth and consistent. Shot a box of 357 and 38, pretty sweet. He loves his Kimber 1911 and he deserved something nice this year.

Last year picked up a S&W 69 Combat magnum for my pack pistol for archery hunting. She's fun to shoot but man is she a handful with 305gr Buffalo Bore loads!!!

I'm a spot confused, didn't all the 442, and 642-2's have the lock?

I wen to a few local shops before scoring my 642-1, they all had the dash 2's , but I don't want no damn locks!

I just looked at the S & W website, they are still producing the 442 without lock.

I knew that, but thought only the dash one was lockless.

Going the other way in size and price, I picked up a Rossi M511 in .22LR from my LGS today.

    045F9D2C-580F-47B3-ADBA-39A16D090364.jpg

6 shot, j frame size, and most importantly it fills in the .22 sized hole in my safe. Hope to take it out next week if I can’t get to the range tomorrow.

I still like carrying this old geriatric codger.
    IMG_1524.jpg
I'm getting close to retiring it though, it's in decent shape for it's age.
