Few months ago notice passenger front carpet was soaked. (No rain)
3 days ago i could smelled like mold
Checked the front passenger side again and sure enough, it’s wet. I have weather tech floor mats, and it’s only like a 12”x12” area that’s wet. I’m assuming it’s from the 2 holes in the weather techs that the water is getting through.
Anyone else have a similar problem

Sure it's not your A/C drain clogged up.

I’ll check, but wouldn’t the entire carpet be wet. It’s only a small section

Depends on where it's wet and how much actually leaks.

This just happened to me with one of my employees work cars (they dont necessarily take care of em like we do our tacos) so I took it to the shop. Actually, I took it to the shop because the check engine light came one, right before I took it she mentioned the wet spot (passenger front). I checked under the mats and sure enough it was wet. After 30 mins at the shop they told me an air filter (didnt specify which) was knocked out of position and when they put it in place that seemed to make the check engine light turn off. Im guessing it has to do with the ac condensation.

Check it out. Some of that AC condensation might be dripping and thats all it takes to moisten everything up.

Is it all under the mat? Or does water appear on top of it as well?

    There's a few possibilities.

Several threads on here on this subject. Been dealing with it myself. Could be any of several things. Air conditioner condensation hose clogged, third brake light leaks and comes down into the cab, don't know if you have a roof rack, but they can leak where the rubber trim goes under the rubber rear window bracket. Believe it or not, the water from these leaks makes its way to the front passenger floor...do a search.
