Mine also has the wet passenger floorboard. I just had my windshield replaced and I was able to dry it out but a few weeks later and wet again.
I have searched the threads here and checked all over my truck just haven't found the leak yet. Seems to be the passenger floorboard though a lot of times on these trucks. Hope you find it.

See that rubber hose going out through the firewall? That's the aircon condensation hose.

Mine was wet on both sides at one point, but mostly under the matt.

Just noticed that I have this issue on my truck a couple weeks ago. Haven't torn up the carpet yet. Hopefully you narrow it down for me first. :anonymous:

For those of you saying it's an AC drain, is this only if you run your A/C? I'm seeing water whenever there is moisture out.

Not that this will help with you water leak but there’s a product called damp rid that helps pull moisture out of the air and may help dry things out a little and help with odors. I used it in my boat after storing it with the cover on. Has a little bucket that collects moisture after the granules get saturated and drip down into the pail. Put it in my dodge after it developed a mystery leak similar to yours.

Just fixed my leak, turns out it was the rear windshield seal.

Check for a gap between the bottom of the windshield and the cowl gasket . If there is any gap there about midway between the passenger fender and the passenger wiper you have found one sure source of water on the floor. The water will run right into the cabin air intake and right into the cab. Also check the roof area Bagman showed. That is another one. I had both at the same time. My A/C drain was fine.

You will have to pull back the carpet and remove all that soaked padding (wrapped in plastic no less) to have the carpet itself dry in any reasonable time. It smells when it mildews and never dries as it gets soaked whenever it rains. We had 2 inches of rain over the weekend and the floor is bone dry.

It’s not hard to remove everything inside the truck, I pulled out all panels and everything in an hour today. Went to the car wash and made sure the leak was totally gone before installing my new all weather flooring. I suggest you do the same, put down some newspaper so you can see where the leak is coming from.

Did a recent passenger go pee pee and didn’t say anything? What’s the liquid taste like?

Top pic is what was removed from under carpet

Check the windshield. I ripped out all that padding as you did and discarded it. You can't tell it's missing. If you have it exposed that far, run the garden hose outside at the base of the windshield. If you have a problem there you will see water come in under the dash behind the heater blower and possibly out of the a/c drain hose at the same time. I even took that black plastic duct out thinking condensate was leaking from it and running under the carpet. It wasn't.

Here it is all back together, I’m thinking those two holes is where the water maybe coming from when the wife sits there while it rains. ‍♂️ It’s only happened when it rained but I’ll try the water hose technique
